Parents represent an untapped constituency in our state. We cultivate the agency and civic leadership of parents and caregivers, empowering them to unite and drive positive, collective change within their communities and schools.

Over 200 parents, youth, and distinguished guests came together in June 2024 to celebrate WAFE’s 10th anniversary and participate in a Leadership Forum. The event strengthened connections within the WAFE leadership community and informed WAFE’s future programs and initiatives.

Washington Family Engagement Professional Learning Community
WAFE PLC is a free virtual space for educators and family engagement practitioners to connect, learn, and share strategies for strengthening school-family partnerships; each session provides practical insights. Washington State-certified teachers can earn two clock hours per session.
